Description
Inspired by the love of great beer and the lack of a brewery on the Gower Peninsula - the UK's first area of outstanding natural beauty - the Gower Brewery was born. Established in 2011, we are one of the fastest growing breweries in Wales. Armed with the best ingredients we can find, we pack our ales full of flavour and natural goodness and ultimately brew beers that we want to drink!

A 500ml bottle brought back from my trip to South Wales earlier this year. A decent porter with coffee & chocolate, earthy & smokey. Not too sweet but you can pick out the liquorice.

Half-pint. A clear amber body under a pearl white head leaving rich lacing on the glassware. Inviting aromas of mild caramel malts and ripe fruits. Blended taste profile with impacts of caramel malts, dried fruits, and biscuit. Smooth hop fruity finish with a bitter touch. Pretty good. (Liverpool, 14.02.2025).

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A bright pale amber pour with a dense cream coloured head; creamy in the mouth with an immediate deep spicy hop bitterness; and a long lasting bitterness to finish. Satisfying and very drinkable.

21/1/2025. Cask at Hamilton Hall, Liverpool St Station. Pours clear golden amber with a small creamy just off-white head. Aroma is floral, buttery, sweet malts, caramel, popcorn, midget gems, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, slight spiced notes, with very good bitterness coming through. Moderate body, quite smooth, soft carbonation. Long bittersweet finish. Liked this.
