Description
Our brewery started life up in Morpeth, Northumberland, back in 2012. One name change later, we settled on being called Anarchy Brew Co. and started brewing our core beers, packed with flavour that we still make today (Blonde Star and Citra Star). After running out of room at the old site, we decided we needed somewhere bigger. And in October we moved to new digs in Newcastle upon Tyne, where you’ll find us today. The new Anarchy brewery opened its doors in October 2018 in Walkergate, with the added bonus of our new taproom.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Autumn 24. Aroma is fruity, if not overt. Spicy. Cloudy apple juice gold. Thin frothy foamy white head. Fruity. Citrusy. A tart buzz. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. A pithy mouthfeel. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable.

Handpull cask at the Victorian Tap, Hexham. Light yellow gold and hazy as is possible. Aroma gives some melon, a bit of pineapple. Sweet taste with a good malt backbone. Finishes with a bit of hoppy bitterness but overall it is a sweet beer. A bit of thickness to the body, soft carbonation. Good!
