Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Chelmsford. Pours pale amber with minimal off-white head. Aroma of salted caramel, hop, light tropical fruit, pine and a hint of honey. Medium to heavy sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. It's ok but for me it's a below average APA.

Blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of floral and citrusy hop notes. Very easy to drink.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 27.08.17. Translucent golden. Persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of American hops, marmalade, citrus, succade and pale malt. Medium high bitterness. Full mouthfeel for such a low ABV. Very good!

33cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A rather energetic pour with lots of think cream froth over a cloudy amber body; pleasant tropical fruit aroma; and a fruity taste with a grainy texture; before a crisp, but not too bitter finish, with lingering bitter tropical taste, particularly mango, but with pineapple, grapefruit, lime and lychees in the background. Let down by the conditioning which affected the pour and appearance, put otherwise a fine tropical pale ale.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the M&S on Oxford Street. Pours unclear gold with a lasting, pillowy white head. Lots of dry minerals in the nose, some lemon rind, pine needles. Light sweet flavor, super dry and cleansing, with dominant mineral character, yeast, pale wood, more pine needles, pithy citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes dry and pithy, with more minerality, some dried pale bread. Drinkable enough, but the mineral character is too dominant.
