Can at home picked up from marble online. As Draft a shiny session ale, 3.9%. A mostly clear straw gold coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is big earthy straw hay, rustic, grass, hedgerow hop, socks. Flavour is composed of green rustic cereals, straw, grain husk, grassy citrus, firm bitterness. Light metallic bite. Palate is crisp, grainy, highish carbonation little abrasive. Good stuff.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Opaque dark brown. Frothy foamy bubbly beige head. Aroma has chewy malts and mocha. Underlying malts. Light-medium bitter. Coffee and a boozy bite. Light-medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice.

Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#10. Mildly hazed golden ale, which is very crisp, negating some of the fruity hops in taste, although it's tropical aplenty in aroma.

Nicely rounded dark malts, burnt toast, earth, dried semi-dark fruits. Not too sweet, not too bitter. A little cocoa, ash, British yeast. Pretty well balanced. Sound.

Flavour is composed of toasted nuts, earthy roast,, semi sweet earthy liquorice, tangy dark berries fruit. Spicy finish. Palate is semi sweet, little aged, meloow carbonation. Light tang.
