330 ml bottle. Pours a near black with short dark tan head. Aromas of bourbon, chocolate nougat, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with a bit more emphasis on bourbon, plus bitter dark chocolate and a bit of oak. Great stuff.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark reddish brown with moderate head. Aromas of fruity chocolate, creamy coffee, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of nutty chocolate, fruity coffee, tobacco, and dry roasted malts. No hint of the ABV. Very different and interesting hop effects. Very nice.

12 September 2024. At 1ste Kwatrechts Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Tim and the GBV crew!

Bright orange. Bread crust, plum jam, yeast. Sweetish plum & apple, bitter yeast. Medium body. Technically clean, correct, nothing wrong here!

330 ml bottle. Pours almost black with moderate tan head. Aromas of black coffee, dusty oak, subtle whiskey, ink and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with a bit more emphasis on the whisky and nice but not overpowering peaty notes. Nice soft carbonation. Beautiful BA and integration.

15 September 2024. At 16de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & Jerre!

Candied plum & pineapple, dough, white sugar. Sweet canned plum & pineapple, lots of sugar, bit phenolic. Peppery hops and boozy gin-like alcohol, but there's a hint of triple sec too. Oily texture. Too sugary, obviously, but works well as a liqueur.

2/II/25 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (I think?), shared @ Boardgame Tasting (Nathan&Anke), BB: 19/V/25 (2025-100)

Clear dark brown to black beer, nice thick creamy beige head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: green apples, sourish impression, vanilla, oxidized, some soy sauce, caramel, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice, lovely whisky flavours up front, vanilla touch, some bourbon, a good bitter roast. Aftertaste: nice, caramel, a bit malty, more roast, alcohol, vanilla, oxidized, more alcohol.
