This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a black color with a ruddy burnt white to off white thin foamy head. Speckled lace ran here and there.
The aroma starts off roasty coffee bean and brings in a big bitter coffee bean edge that really balanced well. Sly rugged burnt roasty aftertaste with a quick semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation yields to the bitterness of the coffee bean.
Overall, definitely an American styled porter by style. And I would love to have it again.

Can - Little spice and Perfumy notes. Clearish Amber with an off white head. Light caramel and a touch of flowery sweetness.

Hazy blond color, small head. There is a hint of rubber in the aroma, but overall it’s flowery and fruity, nice hops. Dry mouthfeel, some corn husks, some hay, light crispy tough; the hops are a bit fruity, not so impressive as desired. But overall it’s a quite good Pale Ale.

Can thanks to Jan! Pours a hazy orange gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of citrus with a grapefruit bit and a touch of grain backing. Flavor has lots of citrus and grapefruit backed by some light grains.
