Draft at the brewpub. Fairly hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, melon, starfruit and lychee. Above moderate sweet and bitter in the flavour with a lovely juiciness coming in the finish. Full bodied with a pretty thick texture like with their stout that I just tried and with soft carbonation. I’m not really a big fan of these strong IPAs, but this is pretty good and I like the thick texture that they’re pulling off. Glad it’s just a flight sized pour though, I wouldn’t want a pint!

Draft at the brewpub. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate cake, chocolate milkshake, coffee and vanilla. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with a real thick texture. This one doesn’t go too far down the pastry route and the thick body works well. Very nice.

Solid.
