Keg at Hop Vault, Stourbridge. Pours dark caramel orange with a medium head. Aroma is boozy dried fruits and toffee. Taste has caramel, toffee and dried fruits.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear, rich honey-gold with a modest, frothy white head. Fairly sweet, nice rich wheat bread character, a little yeast, honeydew, clove, sun-kissed straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes on the sweet side but still quite well balanced, more hearty wheat bread, a little yeast, banana chips. Tasty hefe.

Bottle from Simply Local, Burntwood. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of grains, bread, hay, straw, grass, honey. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, biscuit malts, grains, straw. Medium body with frothy carbonation

Brown with a frothy, white head. Aroma of ashes and dark chocolate. Slight grainy hints. Taste is bittersweet. Toast and burnt grains over a mild, nutty, milk chocolate sweetness. Lingering caramel and roasted bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, decent chewiness. Refreshing too. A good one.

Bottle, 500 ml, shared with Cvrle, kajser27 and others. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Malty, bit grainy, sweetish, quite bland.

Darker brown, small creamy off-white head. Toasty, nutty, roasty, dark caramel. Toasty flavour, roasty, soft malty, caramely. Light body, smooth, moderate carbonation, light finish. Very nice fresh dunkel.

500ml bottle from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Dark gold and clear with a small film of white head. Gentle honey and grainy aroma, with sweet malt and fino sherry notes. Taste is sweet and warming with some balancing astringency in the middle of the sip, leading to a more even finish. Agave syrup in the aftertaste with a bit of bitterness in the back of the tongue. Medium to heavy carbonation. Very drinkable.
