Bottle shared at work. Izgatottan vártam, de sajnos csalódnom kellett, az alapsör baromi vizes/laza/jellegtelen, a savassága annyira komplex, mint egy faék

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft, OG. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a fluffy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with a lovely bretty funk character, lemon peel, a little apple peel, pithy grapefruit, straw, grass. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, dry and funky, some pale wood, musty cellar, bitter grass and straw, dirty hay. Very nice stuff.

Bottle via the online shop. Mostly clear very deep reddy brown. Slim super dense fully lasting beige foam. Nose has chocolate malt. Red wine dregs. Caramel. Leathery brett. Taste is pretty sweet and vinous up front with healthy tangy bretty bitterness. Smooth and tart and juicy in the palate. Juicy tart finish. Glorious.

Bottle via the online shop. Well hazed medium amber gold. Very decent slightly soppy lasting white froth. Nose has a definite gueuze twang up front. Mineraly notes. Wheat and a touch of spicy rye. Lovely hoppage comes through all gently coconut and sweet ripe, on the turn orange. Juicy and pretty tart throughout. Modicum of bitterness. Touch of acidity I’d not expected. Brisk carbonation. Tart juicy finish. The Sorachi comes through beautifully although overall it’s maybe a tad too zingy as it stands, to reach the usual Mills high. It’ll get there, mind you.
