Very soft and light haze juice. Hop notes blend quickly into orange juice and mango.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. High expectations for this hazy, and an interesting collaboration for sure. Thick, bright, juicy appearance. Sticky head and lacing. Bready malts, sweaty pineapple like hops, and paper like aroma. Strange. Flavor is a similar dry paper like grain up front. Slight juiciness to it. Tropical variety, pineapple forward. Dry malty finish behind the juice. Not really my flavor profile here. Has some good features, but this one wasn't really for me.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a cloudy dull yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice wild yeast character, citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus and piney hops, light wild yeast, and crisp biscuity malt. Wild and citrusy. Very nicely constructed.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. After so many consecutive cans of IPA I've loved from these guys, I picked up a few in some different styles, including this pils. 50th Matchless rate! It's been fun so far. Really nice, refreshing pilsner here. A mostly clean, bright golden pour. Lasting foam head. Gentle, smooth, creamy forward texture, a mostly straight forward pils grain lingering flavor. Aroma brings out a nice hop presence to pair with the grain, and give this it's own unique touch. Doing a blind pilsner tasting would be tough, but I know this one would stand out. Very nice.

16 oz can from Beer Mongers in Portland. Pours murky orange-yellow with a one finger bone white head with good retention. Aroma is citrus peel, orange, woodsy. Taste has no bitterness, moderately sweet, juicy; finishes dry. Good shit, Maynard.

16 oz can from Beer Mongers in Portland. Aroma is bready, vaguely fruity, woodsy, Red Vines licorice, wet stone. Pours hazy orange with a thin off white head. Tastes much better than it smells, with light bitterness, herbal, vaguely citrusy hop flavors. It’s like Pac NW IPA had sex with NEIPA and shat out Spudman. Edit: the initial seemingly bland aroma really opened up after sitting for a bit, becoming more assertive and interesting, making me raise my score a bit. I can imagine potatoes in this if I really look for it, but would never guess that without seeing the can.
