Draft - Caramel and toffee. Deep ruby Amber with a small beige head. Sweet and malty, as it should be. But why?

16 oz can poured, the last of the 4 pack purchased at Matchless Brewing, so instead of crushing though the can like I did for the others, I'll take some time to write up this review. It's really good though, so I'll keep this simple. A hazy, juicy orange pour. Cream foam head. Really interesting malt bill here, which I chatted a bit with luttonm about. One that I wouldn't have guessed, but reading the description, it all makes perfect sense. Really nice flavor here. Juicy and refreshing. I always love it when a collaboration finds a way to capture common traits of each collaborating breweries' great beers. Love the 'no fruit was harmed in this fruity IPA' profile from Matchless, along with the crushable malt forward IPA from Georgetown. Really an incredible brew here.

Like the best tasting corona I've ever had, mad refreshing, no bitter notes, clean and smooth, lightly sweetened.

16 oz can, rated last night up the river. Aroma is grainy, toasty. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone-white head. Taste is moderately sweet, toasty, hint of clove or menthol. Tasty and well made beer that I would appreciate a lot more if I wasn't so hungover.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out vegetal notes, earthy hops and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with an earthy hop character, vegetal notes, and bready malt. Too vegetal and herbal. The potato maybe is noticeable but it just doesn't work overall as a beer.

16 oz can from Beer Monger's in Portland. Aroma is bready, spicy hops, wet hay fields. Pours hazy golden with a thick pillowy white head with great retention and sudsy lace. Taste is highly bitter for style, light malt sweetness, hint of tartness and lingering bitterness in the finish. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Perfectly carbonated but maybe a tad thin. I love bitter pilsners like this.

Pours a nice gold from a can. Nice grassy aroma and flavor, dry. Pretty good beer, standout pale lager.
