Tap at the brewpub.Could have been a newer, stronger tripel, so I will change it if one appears. Hazy gold with a low, airy head. Malty nose, honey, some biscuits, smells genuine. Ok sweetness, peaches, biscuits, oranges. A bit over-spiced but it hides the alcohol well and is good. Rye spiciness comes out well. Good for an American tripel.

Pint at the brewery - clear gold - overall clean, lean, malt base makes way for citric, grassy, hops, finishing medium bitter and peppery - very good.

Tulip at the brewery - turbid light orange - lively carbonation with a lasting, rocky head - nose is strong rustic wheat, dusty yeast, a little white pepper - full mouthfeel, carbonation is maybe a little high - flavor is surprisingly sweet, and the malts are a little husky and heavy - moderate bitterness and very potent spiciness - finish of tropical fruit, pepper, lingering sweetness - eh.

10 ounce at the brewery - clear copper with a thick head - creamy texture, with a nice mixture of bright fruitiness from the hops, combined with a moderate, clean malt sweetness, finishing moderately bitter and mildly peppery - floral, mildly sweet finish - solid.

10 ounce at the brewery - lightly hazy gold - nose has mild tartness, but mostly saison yeast character in the form of esters and pepper - medium tart and lemony up front, but that gradually washes away and leaves tropical fruit and moderate spicy phenolics, finishing dry, with a light return of the starting tartness - pretty good.

On tap at the brewery. A bright clear copper pour with a big hoppy aroma of fruits and dankness. Clean sweet hop flavor with a substantial malt supporting character. Good stuff.

A deep oily black with a tan head and a great soft chocolate roasty aroma. Medium to full bodied with a raspy body and nice roasty dark chocolate. Really nice.

A clear light gold with a wheaty funk aroma. Light bodied, round carbonation with lots of wheat and white pepper. An incredibly clean and smooth tasting saison.
