Canned 8/11/25, drunk 12/4/25, as pictured.
Oh boy, smells like terpenes. Floral and spicy with heavy black pepper and extra skunky, heady weed. I get a bit of citrus and tropical fruit rind, but the skunky weed spice character dominates. As it warms/breathes, I'm getting a bit more hop, but the terpene remains dominant. Malt shows honey and white bread to gently balance and there is no resin or alcohol noted.
Flavor is better balanced, though the terpene is still fairly prominent. A lovely, deep, well-attenuated malt helps soak it up and balance, while lots of lime-heavy fruit salad and tropical fruit skin emanates from the actual hops. Heavy pepper and floral, skunky, weed-like bitterness on the finish. Gets a touch overbearing. Not sure what these terpene beers think they're doing. The terpene is always overdone and dominates, adding a skunky, peppery bitterness and character that just doesn't add anything beneficial, IMHO.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Hazy orange pour is topped by a massive creamy beige head. Aromas of tangy citrus, cardamom and spices. Flavor is sharp and bitter. Some sweetness from the lactose, but there is a peppery bitterness that dominates. Added notes of vanilla, ginger, black tea, cloves and citrus. And interesting melange of flavors, but the pumpkin is somewhat lacking. Interesting, nonetheless.

Can at home, from Beer Merchants online, 26/11/2025.
Murky orange topped with a big old lasting white head.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, mixed tropicana, subtle hop spice, pine needle.
Taste comprises grapefruit, orange pith, pine needle, dank spike, grass, lychee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Solid approachable TIPA ... never gets too sweet and maintains a good level of bitterness.

Can at home, from Beer Merchants online, 26/11/2025.
Murky orange topped with a lasting creamy white cap.
Nose is ripe tropicana, orange pith, grass, pine needle, pineapple.
Taste comprises grass, pine resin, dank chimes, papaya, ripe melon, nectarine.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Solid DIPA although the NZ hops aren't as expressive as I'm accustomed to.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Murky orange gold color. Large, creamy off-white head is dense and thick. Big tropical citrus aroma. Flavor is intensely bittersweet with bold notes of grapefruit, orange and mango. Incredibly juicy, but with a dank, bittersweet edge. Well done.
