Cask-conditioned at the Cask & Kitchen, Pimlico 7/05/2011. Deep, reddish brown with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of coffee, berry fruits and a touch of chocolate. Sweetish, fruity flavour with more chocolate and a slightly earthy edge, leading to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at CPK Pimlico on 2nd March 2011. Gold with thin white head. yeasty aroma with notes of Cheddar cheese. Main taste is grapefruit with a savoury note then earthiness/bitterness take over and a citric aftertaste ensues. Cheesy notes return in finish which then becomes grassy and herby. Delicious.

Cask gravity at Egham spring festival 2011. Very cloudy gold with hops floating in it. Lasting white head. Sticky hoppy aroma. Pretty bizarre to drink. Lovely tangerine flavour. Its full of hop. Lovely flavour but feels and looks weird. Lovely hops stunning for the abv its just the hops get stuck in the teeth. Stunning fresh hoppy beer but not overly bitter.

Cask at CP&K on 8th February 2011. Thick dark brown with tiny dying head. Spicy aroma and touches of fruit and malt. Textured, initially gritty mouthfeel. In-mouth tastes are of spice, alcohol, coffee, chocolate and vineous notes. Chocolate nose late then smoky spicy aftertaste, after which texture smooths out. Pleasant, interesting porter.
