Description
Our organic orchard in the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire, produces 15 varieties of apples. Our cider is made from hand graded apples, selecting only the best for juicing. The juice is then fermented and matured slowly over a number of months to give our ciders their distinct taste. Drinking our cider means you are assured that the apples are free from pesticides and herbicides and, that there are absolutely no added sulphites (unlike many other ciders).

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from Chiktern Brewery and drunk at home. Pours a little bit dark gold, somewhat hazy, zero head. Faint smell of freshly sliced apples. Nice but not very prominent. Taste isn't very sweet, but it's got a lovely little balance with sourness at the finish. Light oaky character. Watery body. Not quite as good as the medium but grows on me.

500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Chiltern Brewery and drunk at home. Pours light to mid-yellow gold, clear, flat. Bright smell of apples, sweet at first then possibly a little bit vinegary. Tastes a reasonable medium, maybe a touch on the sweet side but with a nice little bite to it as well. Light body, no carbonation. I think this is quite good.

13/6/2024. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours slightly hazy very pale yellow gold with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma is sweet apple, semolina, citrus, green rhubarb. Very sweet, with a sharp citric tang. Moderate body, low carbonation. Liked the tart tang but was too sweet.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Pale yellow gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of juicy apple, fruits, sugary. Taste is sweet, syrupy, baked apple, with alittle tartness and acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet finish. Quite OK.

Bottle at home, clearing out old stock to be fair, 10/05/24. Pale very light yellow with little in the way of a head. Nose is sweet apples, sugars, hedgerow, tannins. Taste comprises toffee apple, sugars, apple puree, sweet and sticky. Medium bodied, little in the way of carbonation, light drying close. Hasn't aged terribly but overly sweet and never likely a great.

Bottle at home, 24/02/18. Lightly hazed Irn-Bru orange with no head. Nose is tangy apple, woody, straw, light funk. Taste is rather muted, apple core, light caramel, smoked straw. Medium bodied, flat and still, drying close. Bit of a let down this one ... sippable but not a lot going on.
