Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Looks like a classic English bitter with a tightly packed white head and a golden brown body. Laces well. Plenty of carbonation. Nose is mildly fruity. Easy-drinking, full-bodied and smooth with a nutty sweet finish. Nice pint.

Middie on tap at brewery. Sweet malt nose, slight acidic tang. Cloudy amber with fine bubbles and solid white head. Full creamy mouthfeel. Finish is a bit fruity, a bit tart, a bit vegetal, a bit nutty. Nice easy drinking lager, a bit better than most.

On tap at Willie the Boatman, pours a deep dark brown / near black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and bready malt. Flavour is quite light tasting, with dry cocoa and oats. Creamy mouthfeel but fairly boring. Meh.

On tap at Willie the Boatman, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and light nuttiness. Flavour is hoppy and toasty, with toasted malt crispness and astringent hops. Decent balance but a bit harsh. It's okay.
