Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Looks like a classic English bitter with a tightly packed white head and a golden brown body. Laces well. Plenty of carbonation. Nose is mildly fruity. Easy-drinking, full-bodied and smooth with a nutty sweet finish. Nice pint.

Middie on tap at brewery. Sweet malt nose, slight acidic tang. Cloudy amber with fine bubbles and solid white head. Full creamy mouthfeel. Finish is a bit fruity, a bit tart, a bit vegetal, a bit nutty. Nice easy drinking lager, a bit better than most.
