Light gold, thin head. Corn and diacetyl nose, taste is a bit grainy, still a touch of butter. Not great. Decent body tho.

640ml bottle into shaker. Strong nose of milk chocolate and stale bread. Almost opaque with a thin tan-coloured head, good lacing. No carbonation visible. Medium body with initial weak fruit cordial taste. Finish brings in a slight smokiness and more fruit. It tastes more like a porter but it looks like a stout. Not bad.

640ml bottle into shaker. Welcoming spicy fruity nose. Cloudy golden beer with foamy white head. Low carbonation. Oily texture. Finish is mildly fruity then much more bitter late on. There’s a distant earthy biscuity malt background to some of these guys’ beers that reminds me of English ales. Unusual for an APA.

640ml bottle into pint glass. Bottle has been out of the fridge for 1/2 hour so it’s more of a ’bitter’ temperature. Pours golden/orange with foamy cream coloured head. Highly carbonated. Nose is distant toffee & caramel. Mouthfeel is thin, finish is tinned fruit with a little malt. Reminds me of Tetleys. Apart from the ABV(and the carbonation) this is more a standard Northern English bitter than an ESB.

Tap at the brewery. Milky yellow, low white head. Fine citric and seaweed like aroma. Medium chewy body, mellow sparkly. Hayish malt, smoke, nice salty note on the palate, sea and beach, seems like a good Aussie beer to me.
