Description
Cold Bath Brewing Co on Kings Road is the brainchild of three Harrogate men. Situated in the heart of Harrogate, the Cold Bath Brewing Co taphouse is our home and brewing base; the ideal place to spend some time, meet the team and taste our beer.

Alongside our core range, we offer unique new brews, developed in house and brewed upstairs in the bar itself. These exclusive beers are only available in the taphouse, allowing us to serve them at peak freshness, just metres from where they were made.

On tap at Cold Bath, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with subdued grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt โ€” very timid though. Flavour is clean and crisp but underhopped, with biscuity malt and subdued bittering hops. Drinkable but lacking bite. It's fine.

Half-pint on tap at the brewpub. Next-to-clear yellow-gold body, remaining white head that laced just fine. Moderate aromas of mid-sweet saion fruit. Quite similar taste of saison fruit with a yeasty twist. Saison fruity ending as well, mid sweet. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Harrogate 07.07.2022).

Half-pint on tap at the brewpub. Firm pearl white head, bright amber body, spotty lacing. Grainy fruits on the nose, scent of caramel sweetness. Nice taste character of herbal hops, ripe citrus and subdued malty sweetness beneath. Mid-dry, distant bitterness to the finish. Easy to drink. Quite alright. (Harrogate 07.07.2022).

Half-pint on tap at the brewpub. A white tophead over a clear, late straw coloured body, fair lacing. Dusty hops and mild malty sweetness on the nose. Grass and grain to the taste character, mid-sweet. Mild malt-fruity ending. Soft carbonated. Clean and refreshing taste. Decent lager. (Harrogate 07.07.2022).

Bottle. Weetons Harrogate. Czech pils with Bavarian hops? Who knew. Mostly clear medium gold. Once itโ€™s had a swirl thereโ€™s a decent white foam. Nose has sweet bready grain. Hint of toffee. Some spicy hop. Taste is similarly sweet with just a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel could be crisper but itโ€™s easy enough drinking. Foamy carbonation. Bit of a sweet finish. Ok at best.

Thatโ€™s rich, velvety smooth and high octane. Pours near black with a frothy beige head, sweet sherry on the nose, a hint of chocolate, slips down lovely, like a glass of decent red wine with some roasted malt and a touch of chocolate and coffee thrown in

Bottle from Keelham Farm Shop, Skipton. Pale amber with a small and rapidly vanishing white head. Looks oddly like whisky. Decent full mouthfeel, made me think very much of a cask beer. Mild flavour of gooseberries and caramel. Herbal bitterness on the finish. It's quite subtle, but pleasant. I enjoyed it.
