The brewing is done on a small scale and in an artisanal way, using as many organic raw materials as possible. In the beginning, around 150 litres were brewed at a time, since 2021 300 litres. The hops are also grown locally as much as possible. The recipe is as traditional as possible, often with a historical (local) link, and all recipes are in the idiosyncratic hand of the brewer. In addition to the regular range, special one-off variations are brewed regularly.

Bottle @ home. Clear lightly amber color, huge white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops in the distance, bitter. Tastes like most low alcohol beers: thin and mainly bitter, not a lot of flavor. Meh.

Nasmaak is wrang.

Bottle @ home shared with kermis and Inoven. A bit hazy red-brown, more dark amber to dark red actually, medium sized fizzy off-white to beige head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is indeed a sour red-brown, but I also get smelly feet in the aroma of this beer. Taste malts, sourish, oak, tart, sour apples, applepeel, a sweet hint of overripe dark fruit in the background. Decent body and carbonation. Well, I don’t really dislike it, so it probably means it’s quite bad style-wise as I normally very much dislike beers from the sour red-brown category. But other than the aroma this is definitely ok.

Bottle [from trade with RW80, thanks!] @ home. Clear orange golden color, huge foamy white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, some hops, a bit floral. Taste malts, hops: lightly floral and lightly herbal, herbal bitter finish. Average body, medium carbonation. More a hoppy Belgian Ale rather than a true IPA (apparently intended as one) imo, but not bad.
