We make beer, cider and Mead.
At the beginning of 2020, the brewery was officially started with a small installation that could be used to brew approximately 60 to 80 liters per brew. In order to be able to brew a little more and, above all, to be more practical and easier to brew, we scaled up in September 2020 to a brewing installation of 150 liters.

Bouteille 33cl de Joran - Belgian cider discovery box.
BB 08/2022.

Pale yellow. Small, aroma is citrus. Lemon, hops. Taste is very weird, fizzy, soapy, light sour, yeghh…

Pours black, rather big white head. Smell is roasty, coffee, tad creamy. Lactose is hidden. Taste is full, creamy, mild lactose, coffee, some dark chocolate. Tad bitterness that clashes ( mildly) with the lactose. Decent.

Sampled from tap, between brewver and ratebeer. Not much notes were taken. I remember this one vividly since it was overly intense on the DMS side. Not good at all.

I Draught /I Very good fine & dense light yellowish head over fully hazy lightly orangey yellow beer. Perfumey nose, pine/spruce, dry herbs as dried rosemary. Smoked ashy...??Then again, retronasal the spruce, and again rosemary or even sage. Medium body, good lively carbonation, near refreshing despite the ABV and body. Extra point for originality - rare these days, excesses excepted.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy dark brown-black, lasting, unstable, frothy, beige head. Aroma of peanut, hazelnut, earth, milk chocolate, coffee with cream, toast, dried fig. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, quite nutty, chocolate & cream on top of subtle dried fruits, roasted bitter notes of earth, mocha, faint tea leaves, leading to a dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering maltiness of nuts, chocolate, cream & earth. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Certainly sweet, could have been smoother for a Milk Stout.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Cloudy yellow, lasting, thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of mellow peach, pineapple, dough, yoghurt, papaya, passionfruit. Taste is light to medium fruity sweet, peach & pineapple on a firm dough-yoghurty malty base, oniony touch initiates a hoppy bitter core with orange peel, grass & pepper, leading to a dry, floral hoppy finish where mellow fruit & dough linger, next to piney & peppery edges. Medium body, slick-fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Balanced Hazy IPA, doesn’t lose the objective of providing sufficient hoppiness.
