We make beer, cider and Mead.
At the beginning of 2020, the brewery was officially started with a small installation that could be used to brew approximately 60 to 80 liters per brew. In order to be able to brew a little more and, above all, to be more practical and easier to brew, we scaled up in September 2020 to a brewing installation of 150 liters.

21/VIII/21 - 33cl bottle @ Gents Bierfestival (Gent), BB: IV/24 (2021-919)
Little cloudy brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: soft roast, bit yeasty, very malty, grains, rural, some cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, good roast, cow fodder, coffee, dry, grains, meh. Aftertaste: very bitter, hoppy, dry finish, little sourish, good roast, coffee, bitter ending. Not bad, but not my favourite iteration in the style.

Black with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour have an abundance of sweet roots like liquorice and a little aniseed. Also some elements of roasted malt bitterness, a little sweetened coffee. The sweet malt and honey notes of the Speyside whisky really come through well in the finish.

Pours clear, warmingly dark amber. Medium small, creamy and stable white head. Scent is mildly hoppy, rich caramelly, malty base. Thick impression. Taste is farily bitter. Creamy, malty. More to the bitter BW side, but not aggressivly so. Still has a nice amount of sweetness. Medium mild in it's raisins / prunes fruityness. More like a (nice) strong ale than a BW to me.

F: huge, tanned, long lasting. C: dark, opaque. A: rich dark malts, caramel, bit coffee, nutty, woody touch, dark dried fruits. T: medium to full malty base, chocolate, light fruity, roasted coffee tones, caramel, bit raisins, blackcurrants, cherries, medium carbonation, nice balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure yet for me almost the same beer as not oaked version lack some more woody tones, ok may be touch of rum is there.

Big thanks to Meeki for the bottle - I can see he also provided my esteemed colleague with one... Hazy black, stable, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of sweet & woody whisky, milk chocolate, meringue, butterscotch, custard, candied fig, ripe plum, mocha, coffee cream, pear. Taste has sweet fig, red apple, pear & plum coated with chocolate & cream, edge of vanilla (wood?) with bittersweet mocha piercing through, whiff of whisky already apparent; very softly toasty bitter in the middle, accent of umami gravy too. Ends sweet malty yet earthy hoppy, lingering dried fruit, chocolate & cream, adorned by that delicate sweet whisky again - one can hardly call it alcohol warmth, just the right amount of added flavour. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Deserves another point for sheer execution: Hoppug shows that there's no need to drop the 'alcohol bomb'; delicately adding the whisky treatment to a base beer can bring equal success.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy bit irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very sweet impression, lots of caramel notes, milk chocolate, some alcohol, good roast, more chocolate, little malty, some dried fruits, prunes. MF: very lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft roast, some chocolate, bit sourish, some dried fruits, bit of caramel, earthy. Aftertaste: some tobacco, bit sourish, caramel notes, some lactose, lactobacillus acidity, pretty bitter, some tannins, cocoa powder, dried fruits, some cola, CO2, dark cherries, good!
