Pours clear-as-water, scent is mild oak, whisky / bourbon notes. Gentle. Taste is full, very floral, oaky, milder spirit influence. Tad herbal. Bit to the dry side. Almost medicinal trough the fina balance of the sensitive aroma's.

Pours very dark red. Scent is very intense on cherry, honey is present underneath. Taste is very full, intense. Cherries, obviously, very fleshy, fruity, intense. Not particularly sweet ( sweet by the base ) as the cherry's are the tart kind, but the mead itself ain't tart either.
This is developed to attrackt fans of Oude Kriek. The fruit presents itself in a similar manner, though the base is so different ( and so is the endresult) . But somehow, the pieces fit together, and I can see this working to the aimed-at-crowd, given the circumstances they don't hate sweetness. Medium high alcohol. Smooth base, not too comple in it's honey, but a fine drinkin' mead that's priced as such.

Pours a beautifull, clear, peachy red. Scent is strawberry jam. Taste is silky, smooth and fairly thick. Strawberry jam, the rhubarb is very mild and brings more of a balance factor, than an extra taste. Very jammy, Vanilla is very mild, if even recognizable. Some honey in the back. Pretty good, but I still prefer superstition's strawberry sunrise.

Bottle 37/50. Pours a clear, light yellow. Scent is bit sharp, mild 'medicinal' notes, honey... not my style so far. Taste is bit sweet, fairly fullbodied but has a sharp edge by the ginger-like herbs. The speculaas is less intense. it's indeed a warming mead, i can see why this was chosen for its purpose. Less my thing though. Bit too alcoholic as well.

Pours clear, very light blonde. Smell is sharp, mildly oxidative, mild wood. Bit fino like, mild acidity. Taste is dry, some honey aroma, very fino-forward like tannines, wood, alcohol touch and dryness. mild apple-like fruityness ( hidden, but present) . Very interesting drinkt that seems to be best described as what a Fino is to wine, this would be to Mead. Awesome !
