aroma is bready, and slightly cardboard. Flavoru is sweet malt, and faint hops. I think it’s past it’s prime, but still drinkable. a decent beer.

on tap at volo. Nice to see a little brewery like this tring new things, but to me this is a miss. body was quite thin and wattery to what i would expect in a bock, and the malt wasnt as much there as i wuld have liked, but a good effot though.

on tap at the toronto beerfest. Kinda harsh in the fact that the green apple tastes very very artificial. not very nice at all.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of dry toasted malt, a touch of coffee, and a hint of cocoa. Flavour has a nice roasted malt profile, with deep roast, some espresso, and a touch of cocoa. Finishes quite roasted and even has some hoppy bitterness. Good balance, nicely structured old school impie.

473mL can. Pours black with a beige head. Dry roasted malt and bread crust on the nose. Flavour has dry, slightly burnt toasted malts, nice hoppy finish. Very solid imperial stout.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 03 Oct 2023). Very dark brown with huge beige head. Roast malt, feint molasses, maple is so subtle to be almost undetectable. Just an okay porter.

From tap at Brody's, Den Haag. Aroma is grainy malts and fruity hops with grass and citrussy notes. Good bitterness in the flavour. Body is light to medium. Simple but fine hoppy Golden or mild APA. Looking at some of the other ratings I do wonder if this was in the best condition though.

Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is citrussy hop with orange, pale malt, some grapefruit and a little pine. Flavour is moderate bitter, body is medium. Good IPA, some more bitterness would have been appreciated.

Bottle from Wijnhuis Blerick. Nice Bourbon aroma with roasted malt, oak, chocolate, some alcohol. Moderate to medium sweet with a mild bitterness and a little alcohol in the finish. Full body. Good stuff, lots of Bourbon.

Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is piney hops with citrus, grapefruit, some pine resin and pale malt. Orange pith, tropical notes. Nice bitter taste with a mild sweetness. Body is medium. Piney, fruity and bittersweetish, solid IIPA!
