Description
ere you will find multi award winning beers being produced in our specially converted barn set in a quiet wooded valley in West Sussex.

We particularly enjoy brewing old style beers such as porters, stouts and milds. We also produce an extensive range of pale beers and never miss an opportunity to create something new.

Our brewery is set in a beautiful rural location with a quirky little taproom and peaceful outdoor spaces.

33cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. This is a RIS, not a BW. A sweet, caramel and chocolate, sour, soy-laden RIS. Not great.

33cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, marmite, coffee cookies. Flavour follows but the beer is so extremely over-carbonated and fizzy that itโ€™s barely drinkable.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2017. Pours dark brown, thinning white head. Vibrant malt aroma with a boozy sweetness and vinous berries. Palate-coating rich, oily body, quite complex with some chocolate, leather port and sherry notes making an appearance. Complex and interesting, but a bit rich for a mid-fest beer.

Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, vineousness and bitterness. Aftertaste was vineousness and bitterness. A very woody and sweet brew.
