On tap @ the Stone World Bistro. Pours copper with thin off white head. Full aroma chubbed up with pine hops, some grapefruit hops and mild sweet malts hanging around out the back. The taste is big and chewy with ample malt sweetness that feebly attempts to balance the bold pine, grassy and mildly grapefruit hop bitterness. This is a nice very nice West Coast hop bomb brew with high gravity that helps feed the malt backbone. Spot on IIPA.

12 oz bottle...Dark brown with amber highlights, light brown head...mild hops on the sniff...caramel malts, sweet sniffs...flavor mild citrus (hops present)...some malts, some of this some of that, but not all that....finish on the verge of grapefruit to metal....wish I was impressed more, but with green flash , I feel they should stick to IPA’s

Bomber pours clear dull copper with light tan head and sheet lacing. It has a light IIPA rather than a barleywine aroma with hints of dark fruit and an out of place pine hoppiness as well as some alcohol. The pine hops almost smell wet. The flavor starts malty and slightly sweet with dark fruitiness. Then the pine hops hit pretty hard then a pinch of alcohol also surfaces. I also get a hard citrus candy note that borders on being medicinal. Near the finish there are mild caramel and toffee notes that feel very barleywine like. I think this is worth a year or two aging and a re-rate.

Hazy golden color. The aroma is hoppy, but also with some paper feeling. Dry toffee flavor, and quite strong and good hopping, but without any vibe…

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, deep golden with a creamy, white head leaving some lacing. Fresh aroma with both citrus and peach. Medium body with lightly sweet malts, but otherwise dominated by very fresh accents of the aroma hops that also leave a solid dose of bitterness. 171107

Bomber pours a clear a clear gold with frothy off white head and sweet lacing. The aroma is lighter than it should be to be a top notch brew with hints of sweet malts and mild citrus grapefruit hops. The taste begins somewhat neutral then becomes sweet with malts as grapefruit hop bitterness and floral hops bloom. The mouth feel is thick speaking to the gravity of the beer yet with virtually no hint of the 9% ABV. Nice lingering grapefruit hop bitterness.
