Brune foncée, col blanc-cassé, léger huiuleux au verre.
Arôme sur un tourbé marqué, le tout repris en support avec pas mal de notes de malts - caramel, chocolaté assez épais. Finement biscuité.
Palais reste une belle grosse base de malts - épais sur le chocolaté, léger tourbé, cacao assez bien placé.

Arôme est à fond sur l'ail noir avec un léger bouquet d'oignon fumé en rétro-nasal - effet un peu fermenté allant vers umami voire effet miso.
Palais est unique et déconcertant - de fait pas pour tout le monde.
Malté chargé en chocolat-cacao - léger apport de fumé/brûlé avec ce caractère épais-pâteux d'ail oir - ce dernier apporte une note d'umami en fin de bouche. Léger caramélisé. Epais en bouche avec un chocolaté bien dominant.

330ml can @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025, courtesy of the brewer. Deep hazed orange, small white head. Lactose and vanilla really work well with the carroty character.. smooth, fruity, a touch orangey.. nice

Growler pour @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025 courtesy of the brewer direct from an Italian beer festival. Pours a deep hazed green, no head. Good to try a traditionally syruped Berliner.. quite sweet, kiwi fruit, a touch medicinal, nice.
