A: clear golden, stable, small, foamy, white head.
A: unripe pear, grapefruit, melon, onion, lemongrass, white pepper.
T: sweetish pear, bitter grapefruit, herbs, lemongrass, peanut.
F: bitter resinous hops, pine, hashish, grapefruit, touch of gin-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Agreeable complexity of herbal, floral and juicy notes. Totem is always a pleasure!

Draft @ Ostara beerfest - LaSource.
Brune foncée, col blanc-cassé, léger huiuleux au verre.
Arôme sur un tourbé marqué, le tout repris en support avec pas mal de notes de malts - caramel, chocolaté assez épais. Finement biscuité.
Palais reste une belle grosse base de malts - épais sur le chocolaté, léger tourbé, cacao assez bien placé.

Clear dark brown beer, small tiny creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots of vanilla, chocolate notes, sweet impression, caramel, bourbon, alcohol, slightly oxidized, some soy sauce. MF: soft to no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: a bit sourish, lots of alcohol, good roast, bitter touch, coffee, cocoa powder, oxidized, more alcohol. Aftertaste: profound roast, bitter, alcohol, coffee, dry, dark chocolate, a hint of vanilla, whisky, more alcohol, acidic touch, a bit sweeter on warming up. Was expecting more from the Bourbon version, TBH.

Clear dark brown to black beer, huge creamy bit irregular beige brown head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of chocolate, peated whisky, very smoky, all whisky, woody, roasted, more peat. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of chocolate, smoky touch, deep roast, pretty bitter, lots of coffee, dry, a bit malty, some caramel, sweet, very peated. Aftertaste: lots of chocolate, soft acidity, good deep roast, lots of coffee, bitter touch, nice, whisky, some peat, cocoa powder. Very decent one!
