Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Dark oily burned cough syrup super dark Lapsang Souchong with no head. Nose is thick oily Lapsan Souchong with smoked meaty malt, smoked herbs, thick oily tea, rich. Taste is iou sugar, smoke herbs, thick oily Lapsan Souchong oily finish, thick oily tea bitterness, smoked herbs, oily bark. Little carbonation, thick oily, coats your mouth. Great mix of Lapsan Souchong & Bavarian style smoked beer. Served a bit too cold, really improved when it warmed up. DeScripton says Indonesian Lapsang Souchong, surprised to read that, I always thought that Lapsang Souchong was limited to a province in China. Is it possible to ask for a version with Tarry Souchong?

Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Very hazy citrus. Nose is massive dank oily citrus, lightly tropical hops, such richness, oily dank quality, hop oil, tropical fruits. Taste is dank citru oil, light floral & grass qualities, oily juicy lower torpical & kiwi qualities, faint raw qualities. Drinking disturbingly easy, soft carbonation, hard to believe that this is 9 % ABV. Amazing blast of oily, lightly dank hops, pure hop fruit punch, very nice.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Very hazy orange, milky golden orange, thick creamy tanned head. Nose is raw hops, raw almst wort-like in a good with strongly herbal pine, cow fodder, bit milky with clear & pleasant raw dough malts. Taste is raw, milky raw wort, raw dough malts, raw herbal oily hops, boozy, raw, grainy, thick malt bodied. Raw herbal, wort-like, pleasant sweetish malt that balances the whole, faint grain alcohol. Intense, raw & fascinating, very brave beer & something fascinating and new. Remember preferring the home brew version (remember these also being radically different), this one is raw, brave & chllaging. Lovely brew. 330 ml. bottle @ Gollem. This one has matured & grown really well, less raw, very balanced & beautiful now. Dark amber, creamy white head. Nose is leafy hops, low dark bread, malt sweetness. Taste carries a lovely sweet bread profile with caramel, toffee, very pleasant, nice sweet grain, very round, hops are easier in the back. Very creamy lovely. Upping the score to 4.5/5 from 4/5. Delicious treat.

Pretty hazy dark orange beer, creamy beige solid head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, caramel malts, fruity, bit resinous, pineapple, very fruity, lovely stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet malty start, sugary, lots of caramel, very fruity, melons. Aftertaste: fruity, bitter, some banana, mango, dragon fruit, some orange peel. Yes, I'm a fan boy, but also: the Totem beers were the first I had at festival. That always helps with this hoppy stuff. ;-)
