Dark brown color with a light beige head with short duration and good lacework. Aroma has notes of dry fruits, toasted malts and caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet, nutty notes with burnt sugar hints and toasted malts, some toffee taste. Slightly sweet final with soft body.

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared by Erwin Van Moll. Nice dark red-brown color with a dark red hue coming through, medium sized beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, roast, toasted malts, chocolate, a bit earthy. Tastes about the same: malts, roasted malts, toasted malts, bitter, earthy, some caramel and brown malts, earthy bitter. Medium body, medium a bit fizzy yet suitable carbonation. Good porter. Style wise this would score 4+ imo, but since that’s not the way we rate on RB my score is a little lower.

Shared bottle close to best before date. Hazy light Amber with white head and nice lacing. The nose is great with massive citra hops. Aroma has caramel, mariuana, grass, skunk, apricot, grapefruit, lime. Haha, this is almost like they added some nice citrus haze weed, super dank. Light to medium sweet and bitter with medium body. Maybe a bit over its peak, but still very nice, especially on the nose.

Bierfestival Groningen 2015. Golden in the glass. Taste is fruity, decent bitter, caramell, malty. Surprisingly good! 3.4 Second try, eight years later, 19.05.2023. 0,33 l bottle from a supermarket in Rhodes town. Cloudy orange golden, more than one finger white foamy head. Fruity and a lot of yeast on the nose. Taste starts with a grape bitterness, resin, dry and caramel. Longlasting malty bitterness. I would it rate now a little bit higher, gets now a 3.6.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Septem Wet Hop ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, pineapple, pine, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150227]

Getrunken Anfang April 2015 in einem edlem Café am Hafen von Thessaloniki, nachdem ich mit dem Zug von Wien aus dorthin gefahren bin. Die Reise war zwar beschwerlich, aber interessant und dieses Bier hat mich für vieles entschädigt. Es ist ein wirklich gutes, vollmundiges Porter mit herrlich nussig-schokoladigen Abgang. Kann man sehr empfehlen.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee, black rye bread and a touch of liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty porter. Nice one.

Malty taste with caramel, orange peel, grapefruit and a generous citric/resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well made and tasty IPA. Nice one.
