17/09/2017 - draught small glass shared with 77ships and tderoeck @Hedonis Ambachtsfest. Hazy light yellow, no real head. First scent was dirty urinal. Bit later after 77ships mentioning "floral" it thought I smelled clean urinal... Taste is floral, some citrus and grapes, sour, medium dry ending. Quite nice the Nevel beers!

At Hedonis Ambachtsfest, thanks Goodfella86 for sharing. Barrel aged Brett ale from this craft brewery in Nijmegen, with thinnish but stable, off-white head and lightly hazy pale golden blonde robe. Aroma of fermenting white grapes, ripe gooseberry, old wrinkled apples, yoghurt, unripe pear, feta cheese, some faint wet wood. Estery onset, sweetish yellow plum and apple notes surrounded by a rhubarb-like sourishness, yoghurty lactic tartness, soft and elegant, drying, medium carbonation, soft bready backbone, doughy and smooth, Bretty 'stale sweat' notes retronasally, crisp and juicy finish, a tad sourish, refreshing, woodiness very restrained and not noteworthy hop bitterness either. Soft, elegant, quenching example of a wild ale, but for me personally both the wood and the Brett could have been more outspoken.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Bierridder_S. Sampled draft @ Hedonis Ambachtsfest 2017. Golden. Nose is nice low funky, big citrus, basic sour, bright lemon, acidic. Taste is basic sour with some weird dirty plaster which tastes it down, low white grape, touch dirty. Body is plaster, dirty funk. Great smell some lesser notes, plaster, bit dirty but still quite decent. Not bad.
