21/1/2020. Bottle from KEG Craft Beer Tasting Room. Pours clear bright gold with a green tint and a short lasting white head. Aroma of very light apples, touch of caramel, hint of barnyard but not really much to it at all. Tasted better, moderate sweetness and tartness nicely balanced. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Bittersweet finish.

21/1/2020. Can from Three Hounds Bottle Shop, Beckenham. Pours hazy golden/amber/pink with a small bubbly off-white head. Big burst of raspberry opening the can. In the glass it's toffee, raspberry, sweet apple, biscuity crumble and a touch of custard. Medium sweetness, light to moderate tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Bit artificial, though quite a nice tart finish came through. Just edged out the rhubarb version from a moment ago.

21/1/2020. Can from Towcester Mill Brewery Shop. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with an orange tint and a short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet apples and highly sugared stewed rhubarb, topped with crumble and vanilla custard. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Sweetness did settle a bit allowing more rhubarb tart to develop which improved it no end and it became quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Market Hall Wines, Durham. Salmon pink colour, short-lived fizzy bubbly foam head and aroma of strawberry sweets, citric lime. Taste is sweet, strawberry flavouring, lifesavers, zingy lime, sugary. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, very sweet finish. Too sweet for me.

Cask at the barrels Hereford. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet. Apple custard, pear, rhubarb. Flavour is composed of semi sweet z sweet, custard, floury apple, rhubarb and sugar. Easy going. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, lowish carbonation. Decent.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 27 July 2019) Golden amber colour with no head. Fruity nose with apples, citrus and hints of glue. Fruity taste with notes of apples, straw, citrus and a mild sweetness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite enjoyable.
