--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Dark brown mid sized firm head. Peppery nose with caramel and strawberries. Sweet with full to massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle and black pepper. Strawberries and hay, dates. Resinous very bitter finish with intense alcohol.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish and mildy spicy, minimally biscuity, pale and caramel malty aroma, hints of nut biscuits, minimally fruity, slightly grassy and minimally mineral, hoppy counterpart with a touch of orchard fruit. Taste is moderately bitter, slightly grassy and fruity hoppy, biscuity, minimally nutty pale and caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of orchard fruit, nut biscuits, a weak touch of grape sugar. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and balanced, homogeneous, mild and mellow - very nice.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Herbs, green tea, citrus, grass and some hints of menthol in the aroma. Herbs, bubblegum, citrus and some hints of menthol and melon can be detected in the taste.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a solid, white head. Interesting spicy hop aroma paired with good malts. Medium bodied, again spicy hops and solid malts, not really sweet though. Substantial hop bitterness in the finish. 240224

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is chocolaty, roasted, alcohol and somewhat ashy tones. Flavour is chocolaty, some ashy, alcoholic and mild coffee tones. Alcohol pushes through quite roughly in the finish. Yet there is a certain smoothness. A bit less ashy tones and this would be a total winner.
