On tap at Kerelshof Cassel. Hazy amber brown colour. Lasting beige head. Some esters on the aroma and flavour. Some malts. Its not a full on dubbel. Some hops on the finish. Likeable bit almost a brown beer than a dubbel. I liked it. Some light chocolate flavour

75cl bottle from Flandrinks, Hazebrouck. Misty gold appearance, proud white head. Super fresh vibrant hop nose, very light dank touch. Lovely pungent leafy citrus, smudged exotics, firm bitter bite but relatively low carbonation making for a very drinkable, cask-esque TIPA. Awesome.

Another bottle from Thiriez that was a gusher. Hazy yellow with a white head. Skunky aroma. Some spice and citrus along with yeast. Thin bodied. Mid to below mid.

Every bottle I’ve had from Thierize has been a gusher- this is no exception and it’s fantastically annoying. Deep red with a tan head. Very toasted sweet malts, vegetal, earthy, a bit of red fruit sweetness. Medium bodied. Meh.

330ml bottle from Thiriez. Pours a paler brown than expected, pale tan head. Admirable dubbel, nicely balanced of course, pleasantly sweet, some cakey toffee, noticeable chicory... if we're splitting hairs more dark candy rock flavours would be welcome but it's still a lovely beer and a nice take on the style.
