Slightly hazy orange-ochre beer under small yellowish head. Watercress aroma, fresh, caramel and sweet malts. Slightly sourish, toasted and malty taste, a bit like sourdough bread, toasted, and maltcookies. Quite sweet main taste, if a bit dull, with always the sourish lining. Light to medium bodied, a bit like fruitjuice-without-pulp like MF. Not bad, just a decent session ale.

Beautiful red-amber beer with fast disappearing yellowish head, fed by lively carbonation. End of bottle fully hazy. Soup vegetables, pickles, even vinegary, poor nose. Flavours as from preserved fruit (sucade) especially orange. Sweet-sourish, but with a satisfying balance. Retronasal honey. Definitely some sourish thinning. Probably badly kept bottle (my co-taster complains about skunkiness), despite basically sound beer.

Fluffy, whipped-eggwhite-like head over hazy orange beer. Very spicy-yeasty, with a lot of fruity esters. Smelling very young. Sweet, malty, lots of restsugars, some alcohol. Flavour as from sweet apples, nearly cidre doux, getting stronger with warming-up. Well-bodied, very slick, ending in more sweet alcohol, long flowing. Too sweet for my liking, but I’m sure it must have its admirers.

Hazy orange-yellow beer with ochre shine, huge, fluffy white head leaving lace. Hoppy nose, yeast-spicey, and a slight apple/malonic aroma. Quite hop-bitter, noble EU hops, and a background sweetness, lending a good balance. Light to medium bodied, spritzy. Very well-balanced, refreshing beer.

Hazy amber color with a nice perlage. Nice honey aroma, yet delicate. Medium body structure, simple flavor with light caramel and honey; with a very light sourness, that let’s me suspect a starting infection.

Hazy light blond color; huge head. Very nice aroma, delicate, flowery, hoppy. Dryish, very refreshing, with a light malt and wheat touch, citrusy. Pleasant.

Beautiful orange-amber color, with a high carbonation that produces an extreme perlage, very nice to see indeed, and a persistent head. There is subtle and nice aroma, of malt and leafy hop, maybe some traces of good yeast. It has a medium body, where the malt is not so much present (maybe there has been some overfermentation and the sugars are too much reduced); it has a light residual sweetness, coming in later, and a light but pleasant mix of hop and yeast. Simpler than the Blonde, but pleasant.

Dark mahogany color with compact head. Nice aroma of dusty and lightly roasted malts, some dark chocolate too. Smooth mouthfeel, and body above the expectations; roasted malt and some chocolate in the flavor, with some sustained that adds character; strong bitterness; also a light touch of roasted nuts in the end.
Interesting, quite aggressive though.

It’s overly carbonated, pouring a beautiful hazy light amber color, with a huge frothy head that reduces to a thin creamy layer, and a wild perlage in the beginning. The aroma has the usual good hopping for Thiriez, but with a light strange fruitiness, as result from the fermentation problem. The mouthfeel is smooth, with light malt flavor, some delicate and good hopping, light fruitiness, but here and there a vegetables touch is spoiling it. They know how to brew their beers, but it’s the second one from Thiriez with a light infection going on…

Cloudy blond color. It has some sweet malty aroma, with a citrusy touch. As pouring it, it was dense (as much as possible for a low gravity Ale), and indeed the body is reasonable, with a good flavor of dry malt and light cereals. I wonder which hop they use (Golding? Hallertau?), but indeed it’s good, both for the quite strong bitterness and its aromatic contribution. A good one in the French beer landscape.
