(Can) Pours hazy golden amber with tiny white head. Vegetable and lemon aroma. Medium body with light carbonation; rather unusual palate - sort of slippery. Taste pleasant and unusual; lemon (yuzu presumably) is the most apparent flavour, however it's not particularly tart, although there's little sweetness. There is however slight, pleasant saltiness. No bitterness. Unusual, pleasant, refreshing.

330ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A two-finger white head reduced to a patchy layer leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Misty warm golden body. Vague aroma of tropical fruits. Mixed taste profile of lemony hops, mango and pale malts. Rounded, short-lived drying end. Okay, rather anonymous. (Tromsø 02.11.2018).

From 330ml can on 30/10/2018 (ABV listed as 5.1%). I tried after I saw it listed in the RB Australia top 50 list (99 overall score), and I was curious to ascertain how a humble pale ale could be so well regarded. Disappointingly, the answer turns out to be simple beer rating manipulation. Nearly every very high score given for this was entered over a period of several days in September and October 2016 and January 2017 by a small group of members (13) who only rated just over the qualifying ten beers, the bulk of them being from Nomad Brewing. These 'members' even managed to produce the same spelling mistakes in their ratings ('palate' was spelt 'pallet'!). I would support deletion of all of these ratings given it was clearly an attempted fix (hopefully not by the brewery). Hence, the rating for this and some other Nomad beers is clearly not a true reflection of the views of the community. But onto the beer! Pours a clear golden with little in the way of head. The aroma is slightly grainy with some muted sweet fruit. Flavour wise, there's a hint of biscuit malt, and some sweet peach and apricot, which is met by a moderate bitterness which lingers. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. All up, it's a more than passable if a little uninspiring APA. Perhaps it might just squeak into the Aussie top 500, but top 50 is a joke.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai. Donker amberkleurig bier. Aroma van rook en gebrande mout. De smaak is ook rokerig en zout. De nasmaak is iets bitter.

Can. Hazy amber beer, decent cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light smooth malts, a very light creamy sweetness. Pine. Lime and a little lime peel, just a modest accompanying bitterness. On the back end - some emerging sweetish tropical fruits. Light finish. Nice. The fingerlimes dominate but don't overwhelm.

Bottle shared with TomHendriksen. Hazy dark orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, malts, salty I guess, a bit tart-ish, fruitpeel, smoke. Quite ok. Nice mix of flavors.

hazy golden colour, medium sized dense head; aroma of marmalade, pine and citrusy notes, slight tropical fruits and hints of earthy-cellary notes; taste is basically the same with biscuits and celery notes; great IPA
