Pours gold from the bottle. Very little malt in the aroma; a light hoppy twang is noticeable but generally the aroma is very restrained. The crown is soapy and sudsy in appearance, and rapidly fades. Medium bodied and well carbonated.Taste is lightly sweet, but has a raw and uneven note to it. Something here did not appeal to me, although I would struggle to define it. It has a monotone, almost peppery bitterness with a hint of resin in the finish. Not something I would buy again.

Bottle, 500 ml, courtesy of Giggsy. Shared with him and JFK10000. Mine was 7,1% version. Dark orange to brown, off white head. Malty, caramel, boozy, light bodied. Too much alcohol. Not good.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, more and more yeasty, modest dry. Light sourish. Fruity hints of lemon, some apricot. Bitter background. Finish less yeasty, still malty-dry. Nice.
