Biggish light brown head over deep dark red body, almost opaque, with carbonation. Watery, earthy aroma with caramel notes. Taste is again earthy and caramelly with smoky, chalky notes. Aftertaste is interestingly dry and smoky. Nice, interesting, and drinkable. (0.5l bottle.)

Draught, as Freiberger Dunkles. Sweet bready aroma. Very dark brown colour, seems a bit muddy. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is bready and sour. Not a good combination.

(bottle, with my thanks to EithCubes) Very dark brown colour with a mid-sized beige foam. Sweetish, slightly skunky nose of dark and toasted malt with caramel and coffee. Bitter flavour, toast-malty, slightly roasted and papery taste with light notes of coffee and hints of vegetables; dry malty, moderately bitter finish with a tinge of sourness and cardboard.

(bottle, thanks to EithCubes) Clear, dark amber colour with a short, slightly off-white head, Moderately sweet aroma of dark and roasted malt. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full body, rather smooth carbonation. Tasty and slightly roasty malty flavour, slightly sweet malty, toasty finish with melanodins Not particularly good, but also not bad.

Small, tan, normal-laced head, reddish brown body. Very faint aroma of sweet malts. Unusual taste of light roastiness, with aftertaste somewhat like smoked toffee. Very sweet, with a taste that lingers. Smooth at first, then roasty. Very strange; never had anything quite like it. Relatively light mouthfeel; taste not too strong. Good, and very interesting.

A light yellow beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light citrus notes from the hops, while the flavor is sweet grassy with a dry end.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, small white bubbly head. Skunked hops and peas in aroma. Same in flavour. Waste of money.

Pale yellow, medium-sized creamy white head. Rubbery, hoppy nose. Malty, harsh bitter, unbalanced hopping. Long bitter hoppy aftertaste is nice.

Canned. Dark reddish brown colour, nice big brown creamy head. Sweet caramellish malty aroma. Malty flavour with hints of alcohol and barley as well as some toffeeish hints. Strong bitter finish. Pleasant one.

Bottle Strawlike sweet aroma. Pale golden, nice white head. Quite sweet malt base, light flowery hop bitterness - somewhat anonymous. Medium to light body. Drinkable but not interesting - looks like it is better fresh on tap. Rerate: fresh and grassy from tap, rating updated.
