Small white coarseish head quickly disappears entirely. Pale yellow body. Strange, weak aroma of grape juice. Sharp, dry grain and paper taste. Thin-bodied. Harshly chalky aftertaste. Not nice. (0.5l bottle from Rewe supermarket, Leipzig.)

Bottle. Clear, deep copper body, with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is malty, slightly roasted, caramel-sweet, and with a vague hoppiness, some fruity notes and a tiny hint of alcohol. Malty and sweet flavor as well, with caramel, some roasted notes and a little bit of alcohol. Full body. Sweet and malty finish with roasted notes and caramel to the very end. A really nice bockbier, quite balanced, but still on the malty side. (070807)

On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. Clear, dark brown body, with a minimal beige head. Quite weak aroma, with small amounts of roasted malt and grains. The flavor is fuller, with roasted malt, grains and fruityness. Quite pleasant. Medium body. It finishes slightly roasted, with a little fruity hoppiness. A decent, quaffable beer. (070803)

Bottle (traded with EithCubes): Amber coloured with a small foamy layer; sweetish (toasted) malty nose with a tinge of hops; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; malty-bitter finish with a shy lingering hoppy aftertaste. Well balanced, well quaffable.........

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, small creamy tanned head; moderate malty/toasted malty nose with a touch of molasses, a bit grainy in the background; drier, slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; dry malty finish with a mild but distinctive bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite well rounded, quite well drinkable..

Bottle: Golden, small foamy layer, grainy, dusty nose with some hidden hoppy aromas; light bodied to watery, dry bitter flavour; grainy-bitter finish. Wow, a typical tasteless german "Premium"-Pils, not really unpleasant, only horribly one-dimensional........

Medium shiny white head over pale yellow body with carbonation. Soft, milky, malty aroma with a touch of floral hops. Clean, bitter, crisp malt taste. Very harmonic and balanced. Dry, flowery aftertaste. A good pilsener; very well made. (0.5l bottle.)
