I’m not a fan of schwarzbier, but this one was really good. Deep black colour, roast-malty aroma. It’s more zippy than I exspected. The malty taste is really constant. A good beer.

draught in Dresden. Clear golden yellow, creamy head. Very pleasantly hoppy with a solid maltyness beneath. A good one.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glas also, very digestible, balanced. Good beer!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Dark brown, nice head. Starts malty-strong, a bit roasty, modest alcoholic, but not too much. Caramel notes, soft finish. Good beer!

Bottle: Deep golden, persistent creamy head with a little lace, shy sweet-malty nose with traces of a grassy bitterness; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; grassy "hard" bitterness in the grainy finish. Absolutely not excting, hardly well balanced........

bottle. Golden colour, medium-size persistent head. Malty flavours dominate, slightly hoppy with a hint of cardboard, a bit thin overall.
