As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.
Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Just poffed this with a big piece of the Missus’ vanilla, lemon curd, and blackberry cheesecake. I now want more, but I might be sick. Probably worth it, though...

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy brown. Film and halo of off white head. Toffee. Grain. Light, buttery toast. Ripe banana. Taste is banana sweet, first off. Some dryness. Lots of bitter. Chewy, yeasty palate. Finish is light sweet, and heavy, lasting bitter. I’m in a minority, by the looks of things, but I quite liked this. A brown DIPA?

Bottle. A clear looking dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has lots of lovely coffee, with mocha and dark chocolate. Roasted malts. It’s quite thin on the palate, expected for a beer at this ABV, with a very soft carbonation level. Mocha, roasted malts, dark chocolate and some dried fruits. Some lacto notes. Lasting mocha and dark chocolate finish with a little bitterness. Pretty wonderful low ABV coffee stout I would like to have as a regular in my local grocery store. 140808

Bottle. A clear looking dark brown beer with a small, dense, light tan head. The aroma has some sweet licorice, roasted malts and coffee, with piney hops and a citrus peel touch. A good dash of licorice in the flavor too, with some cough syrup, roasted malts and coffee. Pine cones, resins and a hoppy bitterness in the flavor. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting roasted and hop-bitter finish. Too malty forward for a black IPA I think, but still nice and tasteful. 140808

Bottle. It pours a dense, finger-thick dark beige head over a more or less black body. Nice malt forward aroma with some notes of hops. Dark chocolate, good coffee, some bonfire and a touch of licorice. There’s a little bitterness in the flavor, both of the hoppy and malty kind. Dark chocolate, coffee and licorice. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish with roasted malts, dark chocolate and fine coffee. Sure a nice one, a brew I could drink over and over again. 140808
