Keg at Brewdog, Edinburgh. One of my favourites of the night. Hazy orange pour, decent white head. Lots of big orange citrus hop aromas, with a hint of the cereal from the wheat malt. Taste has a good amount of bitterness, but doesn’t finish too bitter. Not mind-blowing, but solid and good.

Keg @ BrewDog Camden. Golden copper colour, hazy. Fruity and spicy hops with a hint of lemon merengue. Not overwhelming aroma, but subdued and pleasant. Spiciness and sweetness of wheat shines through in the taste. Finish is (a little too) bitter. All in all exquisite & one of the better collabs I tried.

Keg at the Euston tap. Opaque black with a persistent light tan head. Aroma is berry and light roast. Flavour has a little veg, but is big on the citrus hop and roast. Palate is medium full with decent carbonation. Good dry mineral finish. Decent black IPA.

Bottle at the Exmouth Arms, London on 21 September. Poured a thick black colour with a large, dense tan head. Aroma of vanilla pods, dark chocolate and sweet coffee. Good thick mouth feel. Initial flavours were a little on the sweet side for me; nutty with cocoa, milk chocolate and biscuity malt. Palate was nicer, more bitter coffee, roasted malt and peppery spice. Pretty good for a style I’m not normally a huge fan of.

Keg at IMBC 2013. It pours hazy golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is piney, orange, tangerine, marmalade, vanilla and oak. The taste is wood, earth, orange, marmalade, alcohol warmth, vanilla with a dry, bitter finish. Smells rather nice, but taste doesnt quite match up. Decent.
