As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.

Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.

We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Cask @ The Gun IPA Festival, London. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, hops, tropical fruit, peach. Flavor is malt, fruity hops, peach, lightgrapefruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, bitter finish. 150913

500ml bottle. Cloudy orangey dark golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Bitter, fruity hop aroma, notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, additionally hints of red and dark berries and their parings with a tannic touch. Taste is bitter hoppy, strawy, grainy, slightly tannic, "chlorophyllic".

Tap takeover at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. Cask, half pint. Lasting low white head. Unclear, orange coloured body. Sweet dried fruity nose. Jam-like taste of apricot, dough and malty sweetness. Lingering bittersweet tail. Medium to full bodied. Tasty stuff, a bit heavy in the long run (London 12.08.2013).

Cask, handpulled cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimco. Almost black as pitch. Sparse tan-coloured head. Dark fruity nose, lightly spiced. Leafy hops together with dark malts to the taste buds. Nicely roasted bittersweet round off. Fresh and nice, possible my best during the evening of Weird Beard tap takeover (London 12.08.2013).

Tap takeover at CP & K, Pimlico. Cask by handpump, half pint. Minimal white head over a cloudy, orange-gold body. Semi-sweet malty-fruity aromas. Joint taste profile of pineapple, resin and caramel malts. The ending is dry and bitter. Medium bodied. Good, maybe a bit too heavy to drink (London 12.08.2013).

Half pint, cask, tap takeover at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. White head recedes to a thin layer. Hazy apricot coloured body. Hop driven aroma containing notes of pineapple and orange. Zesty mid-sweet taste profile of fruity hops, juicy malts and spices leading to a dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant to drink (London 12.08.2013).

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy orangey golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, mango peach, peppery, spicy, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry hoppy, cautious fruity hints of mango and peach, a herbal touch, spicy yeasty overtones.

Cask, half pint at tap takeover, Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. Jet black body. Shiny surface, dotted spots to the glassware. Vanilla sweet malty nose with hints of lactose. Coffee and modest lactose flavours. Mild, dry, roasted end. Pretty okay stout, not too sweet and not too thin bodied (London 12.08.2013).
