Keg at IMBC. It pours dirty gold with a small white head. The aroma is floral, daisies, grassy, dough and herbal. The taste is crisp, dry, grainy, minerals, grassy, herbal and spice with a drying finish. Light body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty basic.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent minerally carbonation. Earthy chocolate malts but smooth. Very thin malt cream. Trace of ripe fruits. Smooth and semi dry finish brings a mild earthy bitterness. Strangely alluring.

Light haze on this gold beer, smooth and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Dry sweet malts. Chemical esters and spice. Touch of banana esters. Dried fruits. Dry spicy finish. Unpleasantly chemically.

Light haze on this pale beer, tidy white head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a vague lager character. Light dry seltzer and mild but bitterish floralness. Trace of citric peel. Light crisp finish. It's clean but a bit hollow and for me, much like most grisettes, a bit pointless.

Keg at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy golden pour, white head. Apricot, orange flavoured boiled sweets, pineapple aroma. Taste of orange flavoured sweets, pineapple, vanilla. Interesting brew but I couldn't manage more than a couple of these.

330ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Mildly smoky, peppery spicy and nuttily malty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones, hints of green pepper, black pepper, grilled green chillies, salami. Taste is dry, grassy and slightly bitter hoppy, smoky and peppery spicy, hints of black pepper, green pepper, smoked green chillies, salami; oily-watery texture, minimally overcarbonated. Cannot see the breakfast aspect in this one.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, minimally strawy and piney, resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon tea, a touch ofgrapefruit, caramel malty background. Taste is minimally perfumed, citrusy hoppy and minimally sugary, caramel malty, notes of lemon, lemon tea, lemon zest, hints of grapefruit, a resinous, piney touch, caramel malty basis; full body, well carbonated, well balanced. Good, classical West Coast style (D)IPA.

F: medium, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, coffee, caramel, bit nutty, vinous, milk chocolate, bit red apple peels. T: rich dark malts, nutty, coffee, caramel, roasted tones, bit ash, bit peppery, chocolate, subtle bitterness, almost complex full body, lower carbonation, good balanced, fully enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Malt Attacks in Brussels.
