50cl Bottle, as Die Alpen-Weisse, thanks bierkoning! Hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of banana, yeast, light tart, mostly sweet. Flavour is sweet banana, yeast, tart wheat, light bitter hoppy finish, light spicy. Light-bodied. Nice Weizen.

Nice radler from this small Bavarian brewery. Aroma of lemons (of course!) and taste is good mixture of the lemonade and beer. Obviously good quality limonade used in this mix. These are awesome in the summer or when doing activities, but I don’t think it would cellar that long.

Hazy orange with off-white head. Fruity with orange and peach. Not as yeasty as tripels come

Vintage 2011, bottle nr 207
Orange colour, no head. Aroma of candy, peach, dried apricots and dates. Sweet flavour, too sweet for my palate, overripe fruits and caramel. Finish overripe fruits, sweet, quite stingy.
Not my favourite.

RBBSG 2012 Left-over // thx to Rian // 75 cl. bottle sampled // fancy champagne bottles popping now up here and there // 2011 vintage // bottle nr. 207 // quite murky amber with some bubbles for head // oh, dear lord it is so sweet, I like sweet beers but this is insane, like pure banana, white sugar concentrate, banana grenadine, yeast, sweet white bread, some peel, this is diabetic and hard to drink // oily soft carb. madness

Bottle sample @ 2nd RBBSG, August 11th 2012. Courtesy of ThirstyBird. Bottle #207, anno 2011. One hell of a bottle to open, cut, uncork, etc.

Sampled at RBBSG. Hazy lightly murky dark orange color, small off-white head. Smell malts, sweet, sugar. Taste malts, very sugary, very sweet. Too much for me. Medium carbo, low to body.

Note: so, I didn't check ratebeer up front, as I was pretty darn sure that I never had anything like "Härte 10 eines der stärksten Biere". Turns out to be an alias. Hurray. Oh well, it did prove my consistency in rating...

Little cloudy deep orange to amber beer, small irregular white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: little fruity, citrus, grains, some bubble gum, toast, orange peel. MF: soft to no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet sugary start, bubble gum, orange peel, lots of honey, sugary, alcohol is very noticeable, some marzipan. Aftertaste: sweet malts, sugary, grains, some marzipan, bit of sherry, alcohol is way too noticeable. It's pretty aged which probably improved the flavour. (note during entering: well, looks like it's about the same as before.

Nothing special here, compared to other keller/zwickl’s consumed in same session. Tasted rather flat compared to similar style biers. Color and head looked about right, but taste was flat. I had visited this brauerei in the early 90’s when they weren’t bottling, and hoped for better...
