# 2572; 9/2021. As Kvas Taras Dark kwas/Kvas Taras Černyj kvas Sweet, dried prune in aroma. Cola like body; tany head quickly disappeared. Sweet, dried prune, glucose syrup. Maybe quite good kvass but not my favourite drink. 1,5 l, transparent plastic bottle, shop with russian food, Prague.

Cold on a hot day. Smell- weak, fermented, yeasty, acidic. Smells like homebrew kvass in a bad way. Foam- thin, citrus, weak sourness, weak acidic tones,. malt. Head is small, white color. Appearance - simple plastic bottle with a simple bottle cap. Cloudy white-yellow color, medium carbonation. From - pint Taste - citrus, weak sourness, weak sweetness, weak malt, weak sweetness. Faintly sour-sweet kvass, not the worst I had.

150cl bottle as a gift. Pours clear dark brown, close to black. Malty and bready with notes of rye and hints of toasted malt and dried fruits. Sweet, but rather balanced and pleasant to drink.

Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Pale cloudy yellow colour. Light malty ugly aroma. Moderate sweet flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Can. Medium head with medium duration. Color is hazy pale golden. Aroma and taste are lemon, malt, little sugar, fruits and has a sweet malty lemon finish.

Kvas taras dark kvas. 15l bottle the same as on in the picture, just in English. Smell- weak, malt, bread, acidic tones. Foam- thin, malty, sweet, some rye notes. Head is small, creamy, orange, brown white color, but not too dark, seems kind of sticky. Appearance- Clear, very dark brown, orange color, some carbonation, close to black. Taste- malt, acidic, rye, medium sweetness, decently refreshing and not too sweet. It looks like a keeper. I may be a bit thirsty though.
