Bottle at home picked up from Hotm. A haxed golden yellow straw coloured pour with a lively white frothy head. Aroma is nice fresh funk, green apple, pear, light wheat, tart green apple, light horsey funk, Flavour is composed of soft wheat, tart tangy apple, loose wheat, lemon twist, mellow funk, crisp, tangy crisp green pear, apple, super fresh. Palate is crisp and tart, lively, airy carbonation. Really lovely.

Bottle, split at Cloudwater taproom in Manchester. Pours light hazed yellow with a white head. Aroma: light sour, perry pear, saison funk. Taste: clean, fresh, light sharp, fruity, perry pear, brett, floral. Medium body with spritzy carbonation. Drying finish. Lovely.

Bottle. Not sure where from. Opens with a big pop and smoke. Lively pour sits cloudy lemonade colour. Glossy dense white foam. Looks good. Nose has fresh cut dessert pear. Lemon peel. Wheat. Clean malts. Fruit stalks. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. Touch of ripe fruit sweetness. Clean dry mouthfeel with high foamy carbonation. Nice juicy fruit on the finish. Once you get past the lively condition here this is a great saison.

14/1/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is funky, fruity, baked pear, floral, touch of petroleum, straw and yeasty edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Well worked.

Sample thanks to Danlo: Poured a white hazy yellow with a white colored head. Aroma is pungent fruity, barnyard, pear, straw, tannins. Taste is carbonated fruits, pear, grain, cereal, tannin, dry finish.

Oliver's Fine Perry Saison something 2020, 10/22/2021 Very subtle sour nose with a bare hint of fruit. Luscious carbonation, acidic but with a tinge of sweetness. Nice pear-wine-like flavor. Big mouthfeel. 7/4/8/4/15.

Cloudy whitish yellow. Aroma is pear sour funky stuff pretty rural. Taste is light sweet pear with harsh bitter funky yeast later and a little sweet juice as well. Quite a rollercoaster. Alright.

Bottle. Very dry funky, peppery nose, citric, Pale hazy, fine sparkly, low white head. Medium sparkly, foamy mouthfeel cidery, chewy. Light bubblegum, gooseberry, kiwi sparklies. Very very nice and drinkable.

Bottle. Hazy bright yellow color with white head. Aroma is white peppery funk, pears, fresh, very good. Taste is wheat, mild pears, peppery finish. Velvety mouthfeel with high carbonation. Good one!
