Ise Kadoya nano IPA 1% Matte gold with big soapy looking brown and a zesty bright citrus aroma. Incredibly light bodied, kind of makes you think it hop water. A bit too dry/light bodied as the malts become kind of like soda bread and can’t support the almost juicy hoppiness. Still overall pretty nice.

Bottle. Amber with a good inch of near white head. Aroma of breadcrust and that characteristic grapefruit/ weedy hop. So it tastes. Fairly sweet.There's a nice toppiness to the grapefruit. Medium high bitterness.

Ise Kadoya Farmhouse IPA strain Boke 6.5% Pale slightly opaque straw gold with decent eggshell white foam which leaves a fair amount of lacing behind. The aroma is earthy spicy and herbal while the medium bodied beer is semi-dry with mild pepper and spice flavors. It’s got a kind of candied citrus and spice thing going on which reminds me of a Belgian beer kind of like Duvel. Last of the three, they’ve all been good but I’d say this one feels most IPA like out of them and it is also the highest in ABV so I guess this strain is more efficient. My favorite one, I drank it the fastest and enjoyed every sip.

Ise Kadoya Farmhouse IPA strain BE-2 6% A clearer gold than the Kadoya1, nice lacing on eggshell white foam. Definitely fuller foam than the Kadoya1. The aroma on this has very mild peppery notes but it’s got more catpiss/sweet tart aroma. Medium to light bodied with a bright effervescence. More of the citra notes from the aroma plus a bit of earthy notes. Not as well balanced as the kadoya1 but nice.

I’m guessing this is their main strain since they’ve named it after themselves so I thought I’d give it a go first: Ise Kadoya Farmhouse IPA strain Kadoya1 6% Matte gold with thin white foam and a tangy citrusy white pepper aroma. Medium bodied with a surprisingly dry finish. The taste is peppery, citrus, wheat and a touch of a tang. It really evokes a saison to me more than an IPA.

Quite full on marker pen stuff going on. Bit of chocolate there later, fruity somehow. Not sure I’m completely getting this, but it seems nice.

Nice stuff. As you’d expect from a farmhouse IPA. Bit of funk and plenty of hops too. Belgian feel. Good stuff
