Draft at Churchkey. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a large white head. Aroma was notes of cereal, malt, light pepper, and light funky farmhouse yeast notes. Nothing too overpowering - light pepper, mild farmhouse. Light rye, flowers. Not too bad.

Some hay aroma here is the dominating factor. Pours golden orange clear without much head or lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Average carbonation. Tap at pizza paradiso Georgetown.

Comes together surprisingly well - not sure why this rates so low. Nice bubblegum aroma with some hay and funk. Good head and lacing. Finishes with some sweetness and sourness. On tap at DC Beer Festival.

12oz pour at City Taphouse DC. Pours a very hazy orange with some slim, white head. I was surprised by how estery the nose was, it’s all clove and bubblegum right to the face, poached pear, a little of that limey Motueka coming through, fairly heavy on the yeast. Flavor is a little better, certainly more balanced, orange, a little sweetened lime (like limeade), a bit of chewy malt which I guess is where the rye does it’s thing, plenty of yeast, a little bubblegum, a touch of pepper, some coriander, some ripe pear. Estery, lightly chalky finish. Can’t help but feel like this might have been better with their house ale yeast instead of their Belgian saison strain.
