Bottle. Darkish brown beer with a very strong head. The aroma is quite sour and hopped, and the flavour is bitter, roasted, vinous and sour. Overall an average beer.

Bottle. Bright cloudy yellow beer with a very strong white head. The aroma is citric/bitter and lemon, and the flavour is sour and bitter citrus. Overall a reasonable weissbier.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear dark amber red color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, raisin - prune sweet and sour, berry - bilbeery jam sweet and sour, excotic fruits. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery - oily, carbonation is soft. (170808)

500ml bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Unusual artwork on the bottle! Hazy straw colour with a thick billowing white head; yeasty aroma with tart fruit; more tartness in the mouth, it’s really quite sour, but also sweet and lactic, a bit like a boiled sweet. Not at all pleasant.

500ml Bottle - Dark golden/amber in colour with a lively and foamy head. Dry and slightly tart aroma with some fruity hints, a slightly soapy element and a faint strawberry hint. Fruity and slightly taste with some more hints of strawberry and a sweet and sour finish which is also lightly hoppy. A hint of strawberries and cream lingers in the finish too.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a cloudy deep yellowy gold colour with a large white head. Aroma very lemony; I threw a slice of lemon in to the glass, but am not sure it was even necessary such was the potency of the lemon, which smothers all aspect of this beer. ’Hooch’ even started to permeate my thinking on this one! Nonetheless, i did quite enjoy this and have had far worse german weissbiers in the past.

Bottle at home ... having seen all the reviews i really wasnt sure about it but i bought it to cook a chilli with ... A realy nice deep brown that shines lovely ruby when held up to the light ...a slightly unplesent sour nose ... BUT what a suprise ... flavour was deep roast malts a little fruity and a little sweet then slowly the Chilli bit siddles up to you. At first just a gentle carress but as you feel the chillis silky smooth caress it sucker punches you. with a nice sweet peppery punch ...that doesnt half make you sweat... Its got a solid rounded flavour ... so much that i drunk much more than i intended though i had to take breaks to let my body temperature return to normal. bottle at home ... deep brown .. thin tan head ... soft dark roast light chilli nose .. soft toffe fruits ... soft malts ... massive chilli .. big burn .. dark roast ... huge burn on linger ... its chilli ... massive chilli ... light roast malts ... the beer could be better but the chilli is really a peppery burn... this will cook great... im gonn a srick... intersting spicy but not a great beer
