[12oz can from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A hazy amber pour with a thick cream head; aroma of burnt grains and orange; malty body with some orange juice and burnt sugar; and a deep unpleasant pithy bitterness. I don't get this at all.

Van tap bij 't Witte Konijn in Amersfoort. Maltig , harsig, hoppig, cinnamon, rood fruit. Zoet, zuur en bitters wisselen elkaar af. (8-6-2019).

Clear medium golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retenton. Aroma sweet malt, wheat, yeast, vanilla, bit butter. Mild taste, light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, vanilla, sugary. Sweet aftertaste, sugar notes, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Overall not really attractive, kind of bland.

Licht zurig. Bourbon ba ris meets flemish red. Het is nog niet heel erg, maar ik had hem niet langer moeten bewaren. Matig

Draught at Zeezicht. Quite pretty sort of dark amber color, full sized beige head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, metallic-ish hop notes. Flavor follows aroma, over the top hopped I guess so the pleasant hop flavors aren't in there. Or this just isn't very well done. Not a fruity, nor grassy, nor resinous piney IPA/DIPA. Drinkable but not nearly (as good as) what I has expected. I had higher hopes. 6-5-7-4-12.

Minus 1 point for the irritating, useless and pretentious wax. Foxy red-brown beer with a mango yellow, thick & dense stable head. Sweet chocolate, vanilla, sugared double cream, some roast. Very sweet impression. More chocolate in the flavour, both black and milk. Finish has a hoppy bitterness and a faint mineral hint, the rest is all molasses, praliné, vanilla, sweet. Very well-bodied, thick, luxurious, chewy. Decent carbonation, creamy texture. Too sweet by half.

Bottle in Portland. Pink, like a rose champagne or a medium saturation Oregon sunstone. Sour caramel raspberry aroma on a decent head. The right amount of sour flavor: tangy but doesn't pucker your face. Nice fresh raspberry flavor! Aftertaste is not very complex, fades fast with a clean finish.
