One of the OG on my kitchen tops. But barrel aged, OMG. So good.

Bottle split at CBC Covent Garden, thanks to Kenny, 20/11/18. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is chocolate, toffee crisp, hint of coconut milk, dried fruits, dark malts. Taste comprises light fruit cake notes, charr, mellow roast, cocoa sprinkle, trace of Bounty Bar. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, drying close. Ok stout but let down by being over carbed.

Tap at Imazato. Deep, hazy, dark orange. Orange and pine notes in the nose. Flavor is also orange juice, resiny pine, and something a bit off and rough. Bitter, rough finish. Not so great.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Slow gusher. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffly dark malts with a little dark malt cream. Mellow chocolate cream and mild coconut. Airy finish. A very light tang on this beer, not seriously infected but enough I think to mar what was probably quite a delicate porter.

Bottle shared in London / cheers to Kenny. Pours brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Aged but only lightly fucked. Nips of maple, brown bread, chocolate, minimal bitterness. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Warming finish, more brown bread, toasted sugars. Not bad.

Bottle @ home, bought quite some time ago from De Bierkoning. Opens with a big pscht. Black color. Big ricky beige head with long retention. Aroma's: bourbon but not boozy, vanilla, chocolate, roasty. Retronasal: bourbon, fruity alcohol, sweet, chocolate, light wood. Flavor is moderate heavy sweet, fruity alcoholic, chocolate. ABV certainly seems higher than 8.5%, but still not too boozy. Medium bodied. Finishes sweet, with dark fruit and chocolate. Very nice.
